Marco Tommasini, RA, LEED AP

An experienced Project Manager with Du Bose Associates for more that 20 years, Marco joins Tecton with an impressive resume of education projects - including the renovation of the Freshman Residential Village and the Little Four Residence Halls at the University of Rhode Island, New Residences Halls at Suffield Academy and the North Dormitory Complex at Connecticut College. Marco also supervises interior renovations, space planning, code upgrades and ADA compliance as part of our on-call contract with the University of Rhode Island and directs our Westerly, Rhode Island office; his expertise extends further to healthcare, medical office buildings, performing arts centers and retail/destination complexes.

Marco received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture at the University of Florence, Italy where he had the opportunity to explore “new urbanism” through the design of mixed-use, high-density/low-rise developments in urban areas.  He continued his studies in Urban Design with a Master of Science Degree from Pratt Institute in New York.

As a member of the United States Green Building Council and a certified LEED Accredited Professional, Marco ensures the highest levels of sustainability and the use of eco-conscious materials and practices in each project.
