Since 2001, Tecton has been a proud sponsor of the ACE Mentor Program, whose mission is “to engage, excite and enlighten high school students to pursue careers in the design/build construction industry through mentoring; and to support their continued advancements in the industry through scholarships and grants.”  This year's project features the design of an alternative fuel station.

For sixteen weeks from 4-6 pm, students make their way to Tecton’s front conference room to eat pizza and delve into a design and engineering project of their own choosing. At the end of this year’s term, the Tecton Team 3 students will present their completed project at a state-wide competition.

Our team presentation will be held on February 15th at the Handel Performing Arts Center at the University of Hartford at 5:30 p.m.
