Emhart was faced with a time-critical decision to outsource its glass furnace pilot line or construct its own in the US in order to maintain its presence as a world leader in glass container production technology. Emhart’s decade-long relationship with Tecton, throughout various reorganizations and relocations, prompted their decision to retain Tecton as master planning consultant.

As master plan, concept and interior designer, Tecton’s team provided fast-track site selection assistance, planning and programming services, facilitating Emhart’s decision to consolidate all R&D departments into a single US-based facility.

Invoking a total culture shift to a dynamic, high-tech aesthetic, the completed project attracts young professionals and dazzles Emhart’s international client base with color, changeable displays and adjustable high-efficiency LED and fiber optic lighting.

Collaborating with various professional entities toward quick and successful project fruition, Tecton represented Emhart and had the opportunity to truly see the project through the eyes of the owner.
