Tecton studied and designed a 5,400 sq ft Pre-op area providing four swing spaces between Pre-op and Post-op recovery. The design revealed the oportunity to double the number of patient spaces from 10 interview rooms to 20 bays. Developed within the suite area are three bays fro pediatric patients, complete with a play area. Circulation and a patient flow led to the development of nurse work station pods at every other bay, supported by two main nurse stations at either and of the department for direct patient observation.
