Rocky Hill Town Hall

Build new or reuse and expand an old school as a Government Center?
Balancing a Ways and Means strategic plan to satisfy a 20-year growth plan and provide a new image for the Town while continuing to rally support for a comprehensive change to the “old Town Hall” were among the challenges in developing the Town Hall segment of Rocky Hill’s Government Center.
Through life cycle analyses, extensive massing, departmental growth and building deficiency studies, Tecton illustrated the superior long-term savings and value of a new Town Hall structure. In addition to most Town Offices, it houses a large, technologically advanced Council Chamber plus various community activity rooms.
The developing campus includes the new Town Hall, Community Center, Library and the expanded Police Station. For information about Tecton’s adaptation of the former Town Hall as the new, upgraded Police Station, please see the Public Safety area of this website.
