Tecton is providing Public Safety and Design services for a new Headquarters building in Norfolk, Virginia. The $10.7 million facility will be the new home of the 2nd Patrol Police Operations, Traffic, Homeland Security, Harbor Patrol Units and all staff support areas.
The building design is infused with a strong, modern, “high-tech” style, yet grounded with warm and inviting qualities. In addition to creating a rich, positive environment for the personnel, distinct sustainable technology elements contribute to the facility’s goal of achieving LEED Silver certification.

A substantial, light-filled common Break Room will be provided, as well as a large multi-purpose community Meeting Room and Emergency Command Center.
