Tecton recently completed construction on the new 8,000 sq ft police station in North Brookfield, MA. The project was especially challenging due to the fact that the desired location was a brownfield site, listed with the Massachusetts DEP as an “asbestos in soil” site. Because it was very important to the town to clean up the land and turn it into a positive asset, Tecton worked diligently to overcome the additional complications of the asbestos remediation while staying within the original budget.
