Developing a significant retail center while creating a New England Streetscape required Tecton’s experienced design touch. Incorporating scale, texture and aesthetics with Stop & Shop’s physical requirements, the design exudes a sense of vibrancy and activity.
Varying roof heights, traditional detailing of human-scale building elements, and use of earth-tone colors combine to enhance the neighborhood and support its revitalization efforts.
In addition to the 65,215 SF Super Stop & Shop, the new plaza has been designed to accommodate a 5,000 SF retail/restaurant space plus a stand-alone retail/restaurant area of 4,600 SF.
