With a desire to bring this 1970’s era Senior Living facility up to date with today’s design concepts and industry trends, Tecton was requested to design renovations and finish/furniture selections for key living spaces within the existing Keene facility in New Hampshire. These renovations and finishes embrace new “Culture Change” initiatives, creating a sense of home for residents, while conveying a sense of safety and security with the proper use of lighting and way-finding.
Striving for a more residential feel, new Country Kitchens, as well as a Spa-like shower and tub room was incorporated into the design. A more spacious, bright, and technologically advanced Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy room is more accessible and efficient. This transformation conveys a sense of welcoming and home to the staff, residents, and their families.
