With a desire to increase the mental and physical well-being of their residents and staff, as well as update the look of a 30-year old facility, Palm Manor Center, located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, commissioned Tecton to re-design and refinish all the Common areas, corridors, as well as resident rooms, of their senior living center.

Dining areas were redesigned to evoke the feel of an upscale restaurant, rather than the institutional feel typical of older Senior Homes. Small kitchenettes were designed off of living areas, encouraging residents to partake of snacks and drinks when desired. Physical Therapy spaces were brightened and renovated, allowing for better accessibility for patients as well as staff. The end result is a facility that is transformed from the 70’s to an elegant, safe environment that will stand the test of time.
