Connecticut Children's Medical Center - Orthopedic Center

Tecton worked with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center to provide a leading-edge Orthopedic Center on the organization’s main campus. The project involved consolidation of vacant space to support the center’s program, including a Philips Digital Diagnost VS 3.0 and an EOS Imaging SA with a Laser Pole. The facility is one of only seven in the country to feature an EOS imaging system, providing frontal and lateral low-dose radiology images. This technical investment is balanced by a design that harnesses the positive effects of energizing color, soft forms, natural light and biophilic imagery, to create a welcoming and reassuring environment for young patients and their families.
